Run Run Run...

I ran 12 miles yesterday! It was super hot outside (even at 6:30am) and it took me 2 hours and 20 minutes, but I made it, and it felt great! So, at 12 miles I'm almost half way to the Marathon distance of 26.2 miles, but I'm nowhere near half way on my fundraising. I currently have $852.00 (though not all of that shows up on the website, only online donations show on the website) out of a total of $4,000 that I need to raise.

I've never had to raise a large amount of money before, so if anyone has any (serious) suggestions, please let me know. Unfortunately being at a new workplace I don't feel that I can ask my new coworkers yet, but I will be starting classes again soon with a group of people that I know pretty well.

Also let me know if you'd be willing to forward my fundraising letter to your network of friends and family, I need as big of a network of support as I can get. I can send it to you in an e-mail or snail mail.
